Sculpture
You may have noticed the new addition to the walk up at Cassel Hills, a sculpture. The sculpture was the result of the Chiseled program a part of Vandalia’s 50th anniversary celebration. Five sculptures were commissioned for the Chiseled program and Cassel Hills was one of five City facilities selected as a site for the placement of these sculptures.
Aeration – October 11 – Golf Course closed until 12:00 NOON , Wednesday October 12
Greens aeration will take place on Tuesday, October 11. Marty Szturm and his grounds crew do an excellent job with this annual process and after a few days the greens should be back in decent playing condition!
Holidays are a comin!
We all know that the holidays are just around the corner. Gift certificates at Cassel Hills make great gifts for the golfer. They are available in any denomination and are good for any product, service or user fee we offer at Cassel Hills. Start dropping those hints!
Weekend Package Points Winner
In a contest that was tight to the very end, Jerry Willis braved some tough conditions on the weekend of October 1 & 2, taking the Low Gross honors each day and put an exclamation point on his chase for Player of the Year. Below are the final results:

League Certificate Balances
To all the league players that have golf shop credit yet to be redeemed, we would really appreciate you spending your balance before we close on December 20, 2011. Give us a call and we will let you know what your balance is.
November Hours
On Monday, November 1 the golf course will open at 9:00 am for the remainder of the season (except on Tuesdays when we will open at 11:00 am).
